Duda's wife leaps to Pepe's defence

One of the enduring images of Saturday's game between Malaga and Real Madrid was Pepe's harsh knee-high tackle on Duda, which despite deserving a red card, was not even deemed a foul by match referee Martínez Munuera.
Despite Pepe's apologies, Duda was angrily taken off to receive medical treatment on the sidelines. After the game, the Malaga player's wife leapt to the Real Madrid defender's defence.
"I know a lot of you are angered by Pepe's tackle, but I know it was unintentional and that he is great friends with my husband," Arancha Duda tweeted alongside a photo of the Madrid man with her three daughters.
