Atalanta vs Sampdoria preview - Colantuono concentrating on Samp

Atalanta host Sampdoria on Sunday on the back of two straight wins but coach Stefano Colantuono is refusing to rest on his laurels in the fight for Serie A survival.
The Bergamaschi followed their 2-1 triumph over Chievo with a 1-0 victory at Lazio last time out, and could climb as high as ninth come Sunday night should they continue their upturn in form.
That win was Atalanta's first on the road since October 5 and lifted them to 13th place, 13 points clear of the relegation zone, but Colantuono said: "We have collected 34 points so far and we are getting closer to our aim of defending our Serie A status.
"But we cannot look too far ahead. We have to take it one game at a time and try to win as many matches as we can until the end of the season."
Atalanta have won eight of their 14 games played at home this season and may need to fall back on that impressive statistic against a Sampdoria side who showed plenty of fighting spirit in last weekend's triumph over Livorno.
The Blucerchiati came from two goals down to beat Livorno 4-2 for their their second straight win, a result which moved Sinisa Mihajlovic's men up to 12th place - and like this weekend's opponents they now stand 13 points clear of danger.
The team from Genoa travel to Bergamo looking to make it three wins in a row, something they have not achieved so far this season.
