Raith Rovers 2 : 1 Greenock Morton - Big win for Raith
Posted Sunday, March 16, 2014 by PA
Raith came from behind to claim a 2-1 win against Morton and further ease their relegation concerns.
Rowan Vine put the visitors 1-0 up in the 18th minute as his powerful shot across the face of goal beat goalkeeper Lee Robinson.
The next big chance came Raith's way as Gordon Smith failed to capitalise from point-blank range as Derek Gaston made a decent parried save to keep Morton in front.
Greig Spence scored two goals in the second half, the first a 68th-minute penalty after Marc Fitzpatrick had brought down Grant Anderson and the second a great slotted finish into the bottom left-hand corner with 10 minutes remaining.
