Second-placed Hamilton kept up the pressure on leaders Dundee with a 3-1 home win against third-placed Falkirk.
Jason Scotland scored an early goal to give Accies the lead in the fourth minute with a smart header into the bottom corner from six yards.
Falkirk equalised with a headed goal of their own from Mark Beck in the 71st minute.
Darian Mackinnon put Hamilton back into the lead just three minutes later as his right-footed finish beat Michael McGovern.
And Louis Longridge put the game beyond any doubt as he made it 3-1 with another neat header at the death.
