Dumbarton ran riot with four second-half goals to hammer Cowdenbeath 5-1.

Rory McKeown could have put Beath into an early lead but his effort struck the post in the fifth minute.

Mitchell Megginson opened the scoring for the hosts n the 22nd minute when his curling effort sailed into the top corner from 18 yards.

Michael Miller doubled their advantage 10 minutes after the restart, but John Armstrong's low finish got the visitors back in it just after the hour.

But the Sons soon stretched their legs and Jordan Kirkpatrick's free-kick soon restored their two-goal lead before Garry Fleming and Christopher Kane put the game to bed with goals in the final 10 minutes, both scoring with neat finishes.
