Forfar will be without Darren Dods against Stranraer.
Dods must serve a suspension after he was was sent off in Tuesday night's meeting between the sides, which the Loons won 4-0.
Stuart Malcolm will replace Dods if he passes a fitness test with only Odmar Faero missing due to a knee injury.
Forfar manager Dick Campbell had a warning for his players, he said: "You have to be aware of a wounded animal and that is what Stranraer are after our win.
"Our fighting spirit has got us back into the play-off chase but having done that we cannot afford to drop points at home.
"No two games are ever the same but I would settle for another 4-0 win."
Scott Robertson is suspended for Stranraer but Frank McKeown is back from a ban.
Stephen Bell also returns from injury but Chris Aitken (ankle) and Marc Corcoran (groin) remain out.
Visiting manager Stephen Aitken is concentrating on the positives despite the defeat to Forfar coming straight after a 5-0 loss at Ayr.
He said: "We were a tired looking side on Tuesday and paid a heavy price but we are still in a strong position. We gave the players the night off from training on Thursday to try and have them refreshed for this game.
"We never gave Forfar enough problems on Tuesday and hopefully we will in this meeting."
