Raith Rovers vs Falkirk preview - Double boost for Rovers

Raith welcome back Paul Watson after his recovery from a broken foot while Reece Donaldson is also available for the visit of Falkirk after a knock.

Goalkeeper David McGurn remains sidelined with an Achilles problem and Calum Elliot drops out after aggravating his hamstring injury.

Manager Grant Murray said: "We know that a win gets us right back into the chase for a play-off place. Falkirk will also be after the win as they took a huge lift last week after scoring a late goal to win their game and then finding out Dundee had been beaten.

"We were frustrated with draws in our last two games and want to get back to winning games."

Falkirk will give defender Will Vaulks a fitness test ahead of kick-off at Stark's Park as they look to build on last Saturday's win over Queen of the South.

Midfielder Thomas Grant is the only absentee for the Bairns as he continues to recover from the effects of a virus.

Technical director Alex Smith said: "Raith will be disappointed at slipping down the table after a great start to the season. They will be looking to put that right against us.

"Stark's Park is always a tough venue and we needed a last-gasp goal to get a point there earlier this season so we have to perform well to win."
