Airdrie United 1 : 1 Stenhousemuir - Greacen rescues point for Warriors

Stewart Greacen scored four minutes from time as Stenhousemuir came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw at Airdrie in Scottish League One.

James Lister missed a golden opportunity for Airdrie when he blazed over from six yards and Stenhousemuir defender Nicky Devlin almost put through his own net in a first half dominated by the hosts.

Airdrie finally took the lead midway through the second period when Caolan McAleer glided into the box and fed James Lister, who hit a deflected shot beyond Warriors goalkeeper Chris Smith.

Smith pulled off a great save to deny Lister a second and that proved crucial as Stenhousemuir went down the other end and salvaged a point as Greacen headed home Sean Higgins' corner.
