Chievo vs Catania preview - Corini sees the light

Chievo head coach Eugenio Corini is confident his struggling side have the quality to end a poor run of Serie A form when they host Catania.
The Flying Donkeys have not won since December 8 and have lost four of their last five league games.
Last weekend's 3-1 defeat at Juventus dropped Chievo to 19th place, where they are two places and two points adrift of safety.
"Things are not going well for us but the team have the quality to get out of this situation," Corini said. "The important thing is that we react against Catania, especially after our recent performances.
"The game against Catania is a key game for us.
"We must get as many points as possible in order to defend our Serie A status."
Chievo can expect a tough test at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi with rivals Catania invigorated by their 3-1 triumph over Lazio last time out.
The win in Sicily was Catania's fourth of the campaign and extended their unbeaten run to four games. The outcome also saw the islanders climb into 18th place.
"Our season begins now," Catania coach Rolando Maran said. "We needed this victory.
"But this win should not be an illusion regarding the difficult task that we face in order defend our Serie A status.
"We have a lot of work to do.
"The road is long but we have the means to achieve our aim."
Catania are one point adrift of Livorno, who hold the last position of safety.
Maran's side are just one of two teams in the league that have yet to win on the road this season.
Catania have mustered just two points from a possible 36 away from Sicily while they have scored six times and conceded 27 goals in the process.
