Stenhousemuir vs Glasgow Rangers preview - McCulloch back for Gers

Posted Friday, February 21, 2014 by PA

Rangers are boosted by the return of Lee McCulloch for their Scottish League One game against Stenhousemuir.

The skipper is back in contention for Saturday's match at Ibrox after serving a suspension but Bilel Mohsni is still banned.

Chris Hegarty (ankle) is back training and fellow long-term casualties Ross Perry (ankle) and Kyle Hutton (broken leg) are set to return to training on Monday, while Nicky Clark has had the protective boot removed from his foot.

Stenhousemuir's new manager Scott Booth misses out at Ibrox as he is with a Scotland youth side in Turkey so interim boss Brown Ferguson remains in charge.

Ross Brash is ruled out with a foot injury and John Gemmell is a doubt.

Ferguson said: "We have kept working to get late goals to secure draws in our last three games. That shows the spirit we have and we will need that spirit at Rangers.

"We have shown in two games with Rangers recently that we can compete with them."
