Brechin City 3 : 0 East Fife - Brechin make short work of Fifers

Andy Jackson netted his 10th goal of the season as Brechin eased to a 3-0 victory over East Fife.

Kevin Rutkiewicz put an early chance wide for the Fifers and he was made to pay for that miss in the 27th minute when Bobby Barr beat Greg Paterson with a low left-footed strike.

Jackson crucially made it two just three minutes before the break, taking a pass from Steven Robb before hitting a low drive beyond Paterson.

Robert Thomson sealed the points for Brechin on 62 minutes with a lob from the left wing, rounding off a triumphant home debut for the former Dundee United forward.
