Falkirk 1 : 1 Greenock Morton - Millar time for leaders

Posted Sunday, February 02, 2014 by PA

Mark Millar's second-half penalty secured a 1-1 draw for leaders Falkirk against Morton.

The hosts were awarded a penalty in the 39th minute when David Robertson fouled Conor McGrandles in the box. Rory Loy stepped up to take the spot-kick but his effort was well saved by Morton goalkeeper Derek Gaston.

Things went from bad to worse for the Bairns five minutes later when Dougie Imrie fired in from the middle of the area to give the visitors the lead.

But Millar equalised from the spot in the 63rd minute after Fouad Bachirou had fouled Craig Sibbald in the area.
