Kane Hemmings scored the only goal of the game as strugglers Cowdenbeath recorded a 1-0 win over Raith at Central Park.
The visitors dominated for large periods of the first half but they were unable to find a way past Cowden goalkeeper Thomas Flynn and it remained goalless at the break.
The hosts took the lead in the 70th minute when Hemmings headed his 19th goal of the season from close range.
Cowdenbeath pushed for a second in the closing stages of the match but it never came.
