Forfar Athletic vs Airdrie United preview - Campbell set to freshen things up

Forfar manager Dick Campbell is promising changes to his team after being disappointed with last Saturday's 2-1 defeat at East Fife.

However, Odmar Faero has a leg knock and will be unavailable while Iain Campbell and Mark Baxter are both doubts.

Campbell said: "What I saw in our last match made me angry and I have told the players that. We had been in good form but last Saturday was nowhere near good enough and changes will be made accordingly.

"Airdrie are on a decent run but if my players want to play against St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup next weekend they need to perform in this game."

Bottom of the table Airdrie will be without the suspended Darren McCormack and Gregor Buchanan.

However, on-loan Partick Thistle winger Caolan McAleer is included after it was agreed that he could remain with the Diamonds until the end of the season.

Grant Evans returns after injury but Chris O'Neill (groin), Grant Drummond (knee), Martin Hardie (calf) and John Boyle (knee) remain out.

Manager Gary Bollan said: "We put in solid displays in our last two games and we need to do that again if we are to take anything from Forfar. We got ourselves a point closer to Arbroath last weekend when we drew with Stranraer so the chase is definitely on."
