ARSENAL are still hunting new signings with just over a day left to go in the January transfer window.
Wenger has admitted anything can happen on deadline day
Arsenal fans are set for a thrilling last day of the January transfer window as Arsene Wenger has confirmed the Gunners are still chasing new players.
Wenger has been involved in a long pursuit of Schalke's Julian Draxler and it looks like that deal will go down to the wire.
Arsenal have a team in Germany negotiating the transfer of the highly-rated midfielder but they may have to fork out £37m to activate his release clause.
Wenger said they were still trying but no deal was imminent - at the moment.

Wenger said: "Are we active? Yes. Are we close to sign anybody? No.
"There is not long now, that is true.
"First, the situation was going like always in a transfer market - week by week.
"In the last two weeks it goes day by day, now it goes hour by hour.
"In any hour, anything can happen or change, but at the moment, unfortunately, we are not signing anybody."
