TOMMY ELPHICK reckons Luiz Suarez will give his Bournemouth side more problems than Cristiano Ronaldo did in the summer.

IN FORM: Luis Suarez will pose more a threat to Bournemouth than Cristiano Ronaldo did according to defender Tommy Elphick
Portuguese ace Ronaldo netted a brace for Real Madrid in their 6-0 thrashing of the Championship club in a pre-season friendly.
But Bournemouth captain and Liverpool fan Elphick thinks Suarez could cause even more damage when the two sides clash in the FA Cup tomorrow.
Defender Elphick, 26, said: “I think Suarez may be a bit more difficult to handle than Ronaldo the form he is in. He is a real unique player and a special talent.

WORRIED: Elphick knows he will be facing an in-form Luis Suarez
“He has had his critics but if anything that is because he is hungry for the game. You can see that when he plays, no matter who he plays against. A lot can be learnt from a player like that.
“We can learn a lot from when Ronaldo and company came down here. They put in a real good performance and from that experience we have come on a lot.

A REAL CHALLENGE: Bournemouth defender Elphick came up against Cristiano Ronaldo in pre-season
“As an individual game this is the biggest of my career. Obviously you want to play against the best players in the world and Suarez is one of them. I relish rather than shirk at the challenge.
“I love watching Liverpool, I think they have the greatest philosophy in the Premier League and one of the brightest young managers in football.
