Goal's World Player of the Week: Samuel Eto'o

He's failed to set the Premier League on fire since joining Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala over the summer, but Samuel Eto'o turned back the clock with a hat trick in Sunday's 3-1 win over Manchester United.
The striker scored his fourth, fifth and sixth league goals of the season to steal the headlines at Stamford Bridge, with that victory moving the Blues to within two points of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
Goal's Alec Fenn said: "It wasn't the prettiest hat trick the 32-year-old has scored in his career, but neither Eto'o nor Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will care one bit. The former Inter man opened the scoring with a deflected, curling strike from the edge of the box in the first half before two predatory finishes put the Blues out of sight inside 50 minutes.
"Mourinho had bemoaned the lack of goals from his strikers in previous weeks, but Eto'o's revival will provide a reassuring boost, particularly in light of Fernando Torres' four-week absence through injury."
