Stranraer vs Forfar Athletic preview - Campbell set to stick

Forfar midfielder Martyn Fotheringham has been passed fit for the visit of runaway leaders Rangers.

Manager Dick Campbell plans to go with an unchanged side to the one which beat Stenhousemuir 3-0.

The Loons hope to have the experience of Mark Baxter and Ross Campbell available for places on the bench after injury as they look to repeat their 2-1 Scottish League Cup success over the Ibrox side back in August.

Campbell said: "We played really well in our last match so I do not see any need to change things. We will have a go and see where that takes us."

Ally McCoist fears Rangers striker Nicky Clark could be out for as long as seven weeks after a scan showed he had fractured his right foot.

The Ibrox manager will also be without suspended midfield duo Ian Black and Arnold Peralta as well as injured casualties Steven Smith (ankle), Chris Hegarty (ankle), Kyle Hutton (broken leg) and Ross Perry (ankle).

But there is good news for the Light Blues manager after David Templeton (thigh), Lewis Macleod (calf) and Dean Shiels (arm) shook off their knocks to train on Friday.
