Dundee vs Livingston preview - Letheren fit to face Livi

Posted Friday, January 10, 2014 by PA

Leaders Dundee will have Kyle Letheren in goal against Livingston.

Letheren has recovered from the head knock that saw him carried off against Raith on January 2.

Craig Beattie remains out with a knee injury but Adam Cummings is included after signing on loan from Motherwell.

Dens Park assistant-manager Ray Farningham said: "Livingston will be out for the win that enhances their chances of being involved in the promotion chase so this will be a really tough game.

"When you are playing teams in the top half of the table at this stage of the season it is vital that you take points from them."

Livingston miss the suspended defensive pair of Coll Donaldson and Callum Fordyce with former Dundee striker Andrew Barrowman out with a hamstring injury.

Manager John McGlynn has another player struggling but did not want to name him.

He said: "We could be another body down and it is an important player for us so I do not want to give away who it is.

"It is not the ideal situation to face the league leaders without a number of players, however there is a strong spirit in this squad. I am sure whatever side we put out will give everything they have to get us something from the game."
