Airdrie have Nathan Blockley available for the visit of leaders Rangers after a one-game ban.
Keighan Parker is also included after agreeing a permanent deal after a successful three-game spell as a trialist.
Willie McLaren and Jim Lister could start after turning Saturday's game with Arbroath into a win in their roles as substitutes, but Chris O'Neill (groin), Grant Drummond (knee), Grant Evans (ankle) and John Boyle (knee) all remain out.
Manager Gary Bollan said: "Rangers are a quality side at the top of the table and we are at the bottom. However it is an 11 versus 11 contest and we will give it our best shot."
Rangers winger David Templeton could miss out with a thigh strain.
Ricky Foster is back in contention for a starting slot after returning from an ankle injury to feature as a second-half substitute against Dunfermline.
