Brechin manager Ray McKinnon will finalise his side for the visit of Stenhousemuir after a fitness test is carried out on Craig Molloy, who is struggling with a thigh injury.
Darren Petrie returns to contention following suspension but Greg Cameron is still serving his ban while Graeme Smith (hand), Gerry McLaughlan (knee) and Stuart Anderson (groin) are all absent.
McKinnon, whose side are searching for a third consecutive victory, said: "We have done really well in our last couple of games and grabbed important wins.
"We have the chance to turn our season around and get close the sides looking for a play-off place if we win this one."
Stenhousemuir are again without the injured duo of Ross Brash (foot) and Darren Smith (knee) as they head for Glebe Park , while manager Martyn Corrigan is hoping top goalscorer John Gemmell will shake off a knock to retain his place in attack.
Corrigan is targeting a return to winning ways after just one victory in their last seven games.
"We have not been playing well recently and that has been reflected in our results," he said. "We have slipped from second place to fifth and it is time for that run to end.
"A win over Brechin would get our season going again but we have to up our game to achieve it."
