Queen of South 2 : 2 Livingston - McNulty at the double in Livi draw
Posted Sunday, December 22, 2013 by PA
Marc McNulty's brace was not enough for victory as Livingston were held to a 2-2 draw by Queen of the South.
McNulty bagged his first after just four minutes, guiding the ball past Queens goalkeeper Alexander Clark.
But the hosts hit back 13 minutes later when Michael Paton curled his free-kick into the top corner from 25 yards out.
Queens went ahead in first-half stoppage time when Mark Durnan headed Christopher Mitchell's corner into the back of the net from close range.
McNulty made it 2-2 in the 77th minute when he fired the ball into the top of the net from the middle of the box but Livingston were unable to find a late winner as they attempted to close the gap on the play-off places.
