Greenock Morton 0 : 2 Falkirk - Falkirk ease past Morton
Posted Sunday, December 22, 2013 by PA
Kieran Duffie opened the scoring as Falkirk cruised to a 2-0 victory over basement club Morton.
The visitors dominated in the first half but they could not find a way past Morton shot-stopper Nicolas Caraux and it remained 0-0 at the break.
The Bairns flew out of the traps in the second half, though, and found themselves in front in the 51st minute when Mark Millar's delivery was headed in by Duffie.
Falkirk were awarded a penalty in the 69th minute when Tomas Peciar fouled Philip Roberts in the area and Rory Loy scored from the spot to double his side's lead.
