Livingston 0 : 0 Hamilton FC - Draw sees Accies hit top spot

Hamilton returned to the top of the Championship despite being held to a dour goalless draw at Livingston.

The Accies will be disappointed that they could not capitalise on rivals Dundee losing to Cowdenbeath but still rose to the summit.

Hamilton went into the game on the back of consecutive losses and looked short of confidence as they failed to present a consistent threat to Livi's defence, with Ali Crawford's early strike which flashed past the post a rare exception.

Livingston dominated possession throughout but both teams failed to trouble the goalkeeper in difficult playing conditions.

Both managers attempted to change the game by utilising their respective benches, but the game was destined for a draw.

Livingston had the best chance late on, however, with Burton O'Brien striking the post with a fierce shot from outside the box.
