Greenock Morton vs Dundee preview - Duo available to Hopkin

Interim manager David Hopkin takes bottom-of-the-table Morton for the first time in the league and he has the fit-again Slovakian pair Tomas Pecier and Michael Habai available for the visit of Dundee.

David O'Brien and Reece Hands both returned from long-term injuries in a midweek reserve game, but this game looks to have come too soon for them to be involved in.

Definitely missing for the Greenock side are the suspended Kabba-Modou Cham and Tony Wallace, who has a groin injury.

Hopkin said: "I am looking forward to this game and hopefully seeing some of the things we have been working on coming to fruition."

Dundee travel with a reduced squad as Steven Doris has joined Arbroath on loan, Jim Thomson has moved to East Fife on a similar basis and Jamie Reid has shipped across to Montrose on a short-term deal.

The Dark Blues can call upon Willie Dyer, however, Kyle Benedictus remains out with a back problem, with assistant manager Ray Farningham telling the players they are in for a tough shift.

Farningham said: "Morton have decent players and David Hopkin will be out to make an impression during his temporary spell in charge.

"It was disappointing to lose to Raith Rovers last week but we can bounce back."
