The first stage of his recovery now complete, Leo Messi will be flying to Argentina on Friday, as scheduled, for the second phase of the process under supervision of the Club Medical Services.
According to fcbarcelona.com, Dr Ricard Pruna and physio Elvio Paulorroso will be travelling to Argentina in mid-December to oversee the final stages of his recuperation. The latest tests on the player have shown that the recovery programme is going to plan.
Leo Messi suffered a hamstring injury, specifically a torn muscle in his left femoral biceps, on November 10 in the match away to Betis. The Medical Services predicted that he would be out of action for 6 to 8 weeks. It was also decided at the time that he'd start his recovery in Barcelona and fly out to Buenos Aires for the second phase.
Last Saturday, before Barça's game with Granada, Messi paraded his third Golden Boot at the Camp Nou.
