Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri has called on his players to keep improving as they take on Bologna on Sunday looking to keep up their unbeaten run on the road this season.
The Nerazzurri beat Livorno 2-0 last time out to extend their unbeaten run to five games.
Inter are fourth in Serie A, three points adrift of Napoli, who are third and hold the last Champions League qualifying spot.
"We want to start after the international break with a win," Mazzarri said. "In this league, there are no easy games and I want to see my players play a certain way.
"We cannot forget how last season went (Inter finished ninth) and the fact that we have had to start from zero.
"We will try to improve and grow in order to be competitive as soon as possible.
"I am confident that we can do well but we must continue to work hard and not take any rival lightly."
Rivals Bologna know they will need a great performance if they are to surprise Inter at the Renato Dall' Ara stadium.
The Rossoblu have won just once at home and go into the match on the back of a 2-1 defeat at Atalanta which ended a three-match unbeaten run.
The result dropped Stefano Pioli's side to 16th place, two places and one point clear of the drop zone.
"We want to start this period following the international break on the right foot," Bologna striker Jonathan Cristaldo said.
"Three points against Inter would be fantastic but to avoid defeat would be realistically a good result for us.
"We've had time to prepare for the game and we hope to give our fans some joy."
Inter are still without injured striker Mauro Icardi while defender Andrea Ranocchia must serve a one-match ban.
The hosts welcome back midfielders Michele Pazienza and Diego Perez from suspension.
