Raith Rovers 2 : 1 Queen of South - Elliot strikes late in Raith win

Calum Elliot scored a brace as Raith came from behind to beat Queen of the South 2-1.

Joe Cardle had a shot saved and Grant Anderson curled a left-footed effort wide as Raith made a bright start. Greig Spence had a golden opportunity to give the hosts the lead on the stroke of half-time but he fired straight at Alex Clark after running through on goal.

Gavin Reilly broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute when his right-footed strike found the top corner but Elliot's curling shot ensured Queens' lead lasted less than 90 seconds.

Elliot got the winner just three minutes from time as he turned and fired the ball into the bottom corner from 12 yards.
