Ayr vs Stranraer preview - McAusland blow for Ayr

Ayr will look to return to second place by seeing off visitors Stranraer, but they will need to do so without suspended on-loan Rangers midfielder Kyle McAusland.
Also missing will be the injured Martyn Campbell (foot) and Alan Forrest (hand) with player-manager Mark Roberts looking for his side to start consolidating their play-off place.
Roberts said: "Rangers will win the league but there are a number of sides who can make the play-offs including Stranraer.
"A win for us would put us eight points clear of them which is pretty healthy.
"It will not be easy as they impressed me in the first meeting this season."
Stranraer welcome back David MacGregor to their ranks after the defender missed Saturday's 3-2 William Hill Scottish Cup replay win at Auchinleck Talbot.
Scott Rumsby continues to be absent with a groin injury and Ryan Borris will miss out due to work commitments, with boss Stephen Aitken asking his men to stand tall for a second away game running.
Aitken said: "Auchinleck had not lost at home in a year and a half but we got the win due to the character and determination shown by the players.
"They will need to show those qualities again against an Ayr United side that have been on a strong run recently."
