Dundee vs Raith Rovers preview - Davidson and Riley back for Dundee

Dundee have Iain Davidson available to face his former Raith side and winger Nicky Riley is also included after a visit to see a specialist in London helped to ease his back problem.

The Dark Blues are still without Kyle Benedictus (back), Stephen O'Donnell (knee) and Leighton MacIntosh (ankle), but they have targeted a win that would lift them above their visitors in the table.

Assistant manager Ray Farningham said: "Raith have had a terrific season and have not been beaten since the opening day of the league campaign.

"As their record shows they will be tough opponents, but we have a real incentive to win and climb up the table."

Raith head to Dens Park minus goalkeeper David McGurn who is out long term with an Achilles tendon injury, however winger Joe Cardle is available after a hand knock.

Stark's Park manager Grant Murray is looking forward to his side being tested by the Dark Blues and said: "This is a massive game as Dundee will be out to beat us and move into second place in the table.

"We obviously want to stop that happening and open up a bigger gap on them so this game will be keenly fought.

"It will be a real test for our players and I'm sure they are ready for it."
