Lazio will be looking for home comforts when they take on Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
The Biancoceleste held AC Milan to a 1-1 draw at the San Siro in midweek as their winless run on the road continued this season.
Lazio, who are seventh in Serie A, have remained in the top half of the standings thanks to their results in Rome.
Vladimir Petkovic's side have collected 13 of their current 15 points in the Italian capital and will be looking to add three more come Sunday.
"We are lacking the killing instinct on the road this season," Petkovic said.
"We had our chances against Milan and we should have won.
"We don't seem to be rewarded for our efforts when playing on the road which is why we must make our home games count."
Lazio have kept a clean sheet in three of their last four games in Rome but they will face a challenge with several players out injured this weekend.
Stefan Radu joined defenders Diego Novaretti, Giuseppe Biava and Andre Dias on the sidelines.
Moreover, midfielder Lorik Kana is suspended.
Rivals Genoa travel to Rome looking for only their second success on the road this season.
The Grifoni picked up their second victory in four games since coach Gian Piero Gasperini returned to the club thanks to a solitary goal from Alberto Gilardino against Parma on Wednesday.
The win lifted Genoa to 13th place, five points clear of the relegation zone.
"We have a lot of work to do but we are on the right path," Gasperini said. "We have the right mentality and we must give continuity to our performances."
The visitors are hoping to recover defender Sime Vrsaljko, who is doubtful for the encounter with a groin injury.
Moreover, Genoa are still without midfielder Mario Santana and striker Emanuele Calaio, both out injured.
