Catania coach Luigi De Canio is aware of the huge challenge his players face when they take on Juventus in Turin on Wednesday night.
Juve beat Genoa 2-0 on Sunday to clinch their fifth win in their last six league games.
The Italian champions have lost just once this season and lie third in the Serie A standings, five points adrift of leaders Roma.
"Juve have won the last two scudetti and they were impressive against Genoa," De Canio said.
"Each game has its own story and we will go out there needing to do the impossible to take home three points.
"We have to try even though we know the great value of our opponents.
"We just need to play at our best and hope they have an off-day if we are take something from the game."
Juve have not lost at home since falling 2-1 against Sampdoria in January 6.
Antonio Conte's men have taken 12 points of a possible 12 at the Juventus stadium this season and look to extend that run in midweek.
"We have to continue where we left off in our game against Genoa," Juve defender Giorgio Chiellini said. "Against Genoa we saw the Juve that we all want, the Juve that won two consecutive league titles.
"We just have to focus on ourselves and not worry about what others are doing.
"We are on the right path and we have to give continuity to our performance in Genoa when we host Catania."
Sunday's goalless draw against Sassuolo was De Canio's first game in charge since taking over the Sicilian outfit.
The result left Catania in 17th place, level on six points with Bologna, who are in the relegation zone.
The Islanders have won just once this season and have yet to take a point away from home.
"Against Juve I want to see the grit my players showed in the first half against Sassuolo," De Canio said.
Lack of goals has been Catania's main problem, with the Sicilians having found the back of the net just six times.
The visitors will be bolstered by the return of defenders Nicola Legrottaglie and Pablo Alvarez from suspension.
Fernando Llorente will partner team's top-scorer Carlos Tevez in Juve's attack.
