Hellas Verona vs Sampdoria preview - Mandorlini looking to bounce back

Hellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini expects his team to bounce back immediately from last weekend's defeat at Inter Milan when they host Sampdoria in Serie A on Wednesday.
Saturday's reverse brought an end to a run of four games without defeat and saw Verona slip to sixth in the table.
Mandorlini was disappointed with his side's loss and is looking for a swift reaction from his players.
"I am saddened because we didn't interpret the game at Inter as we should have," he said. "We were naive and we paid the price.
"We conceded three goals from dead-ball situations and that upsets me.
"It's clear that, when you give away four goals as we did, the attention to detail just wasn't there.
"We only have ourselves to blame for this defeat and I hope my players will react."
Verona have won all of their games at the Stadio Marc' Antonio Bentegodi and take on a Sampdoria side that followed their 2-1 triumph at Livorno with a 1-0 win over Atalanta last time out.
The result marked their second success of the campaign, their first at home, and lifted the Blucerchiati to 14th place.
Samp coach Delio Rossi has reason to be satisfied, as for the first time this season his team kept a clean sheet.
"We still have to improve a lot but I saw the right fighting spirit against Atalanta," Rossi said.
"We defended well and we showed plenty of concentration."
The good news for Rossi is that striker Citadin Eder has shaken off a right ankle problem sustained on Sunday and will partner Manolo Gabbiadini in attack.
Verona will be without defender Evangelos Moras, who serves his first of a two-match ban after being sent off against Inter for violent conduct.
