Livingston 3 : 2 Alloa Athletic - Barrowman snatches points for Livi

Posted Sunday, October 20, 2013 by PA

Andrew Barrowman netted a last-minute winner as Livingston returned to winning ways with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Alloa.

The hosts, who lost 2-0 away at Hamilton last time out, went ahead in the second minute when Stefan Scougall fired into the bottom corner.

However, their lead lasted just six minutes as Kevin Cawley converted the equaliser from close range.

Goalkeeper Scott Bain kept Alloa level at the interval with saves from Marc McNulty and Jason Talbot.

But the shot-stopper could do nothing about Coll Donaldson's 69th-minute effort as the defender headed in Scougall's cross from close range.

In a dramatic ending, Alloa thought they had salvaged a point three minutes from time when Ben Gordon found the top corner, only for Barrowman to break their hearts in the final minute of normal time with a low finish past Bain.
