Stenhousemuir 3 : 2 Brechin City - Stenhousemuir edge thriller

Posted Sunday, October 13, 2013 by PA

Stenhousemuir recorded just their second win in five as they beat Brechin 3-2.

The City, without a win in five, took the lead after just 14 minutes when Alan Trouten's floated corner was headed into the top corner by Paul McLean.

The game was then quickly turned on its head. First John Gemmell found the bottom right-hand corner from inside the box in the 47th minute to level before Stenhousemuir midfielder Sean Dickson grabbed his third of the season.

And in the 64th minute the game looked to have been put to bed by the head of Gemmell as he converted Bryan Hodge's cross. But Andrew Jackson made things interesting when he fired home with 11 minutes left.
