Dumbarton vs Dundee preview - Midfield troubles mount for Sons

Dumbarton will be without as many as three midfielders for the visit of Dundee.
Scott Agnew is sidelined with a groin injury, Nicky Phinn is nursing a calf problem while Hugh Murray is in the treatment room with an ankle complaint.
Sons boss Ian Murray said: "We are a bit light in the engine room but the players who come in have a real chance of making a starting jersey their own.
"Dundee have a settled squad and a settled way of playing so we will need to play well to win. We were good going forward against Raith last week but poor defensively. If we can get that right we can win this one."
Dundee will be without Kyle Benedictus at the Bet Butler Stadium after he aggravated a back injury in a midweek reserve-team outing.
Leighton McIntosh is also absent due to an ankle problem, joining long-term absentee Stephen O'Donnell on the sidelines, but Kevin McBride is expected to shake off a hamstring complaint.
Assistant manager Ray Farningham said: "The reports we have tells us that Dumbarton are a very good team going forward so we need to be ready for that.
"We have started to put in good performances and get good results which all helps build confidence. Hopefully we can use that increased confidence to see off Dumbarton."
