Airdrie United 3 : 1 Brechin City - Airdrie too strong for Brechin

Lewis Coult's third goal of the season put the seal on an impressive win for Airdrie, who overcame Brechin 3-1.
The home side went in front after 22 minutes after Martin Hardie was fouled by Andrew Jackson. Hardie picked himself up to convert a fine free-kick into the bottom left-corner.
The lead was doubled 12 minutes later when Hardie fed Liam Coogans and he emphatically converted into the top-left corner.
To their credit Brechin quickly pulled a goal back through Jackson who slotted home after good work from Paul McLean.
The away side pushed for an equaliser and Scott Gallagher parried a Jonathan Brown shot with five minutes remaining but Coult settled matters in the final minute by clinically rifling home.
