Dumbarton vs Raith Rovers preview - Murray misses out

Dumbarton are without on-loan Partick midfielder Hugh Murray, who has an ankle injury, when they welcome Raith to the Bet Butler Stadium.

The Sons go into the game on a high after substitute Garry Fleming's late winner at Queen of the South last weekend and he is in line to replace Murray.

Manager Ian Murray said: "We have a real incentive to win this game as if we pick up the three points we would go above Raith Rovers.

"Our home form this season has been patchy with one win, a draw and a defeat so beating Raith would be a great start to improving on that."

Rovers are again without defender Laurie Ellis, who has a calf strain, as they look to keep their unbeaten away run in the league going.

Manager Grant Murray said: "We have won at Cowdenbeath and Queen of the South and drawn at Morton so we can go to Dumbarton with some confidence. They had a terrific result at Palmerston Park last weekend so they will be well up for this game also.

"We let a 1-0 lead slip in injury time last weekend against Falkirk. Hopefully the players will have learned that one goal is not always enough if we get in front against Dumbarton."
