Alloa Athletic vs Hamilton FC preview - Alloa duo sit out

Posted Friday, September 27, 2013 by PA

Alloa will be without James Creaney due to an ankle injury and Iain Flannigan, who has a broken jaw, when they host league leaders Hamilton.

But Iain Flannigan is available for the first time this season after injury.

Manager Paul Hartley is looking forward to facing the side he started his career with.

Hartley said: "This is a real challenge for us as Hamilton have been in great form so far this season. We have competed in every game so far and it will be great to end this one knowing that we have competed against the side five points clear at the top."

Jonathan Routledge (knee) and Lee Kilday (groin) miss out for Accies while James Keatings faces a fitness test.

Player-manager Alex Neil said: "Both teams like to get the ball down and pass it and they both like to attack so there should be goals in this game.

"Alloa have made a decent start for a newly-promoted team. We are going there after losing to St Johnstone in the League Cup but if we show more of a cutting edge we can bounce back from that result."
