Arbroath 3 : 4 Stenhousemuir - Stenny win with second-half blitz

Stenhousemuir scored three goals in 16 second-half minutes as they beat Arbroath 4-3 in a topsy-turvy match.

Stenny went ahead in the 21st minute when Bryan Hodge smashed in from close range before the Smokies hit back through Lee Erwin's accomplished finish 13 minutes later.

The visitors regained their lead three minutes after the break when Sean Higgins latched onto Hodge's corner to tap in.

The Warriors extended their advantage five minutes later when John Gemmell swept the ball past Arbroath stopper Scott Morrison before Sean Dickson made it 4-1 in the 64th minute.

Arbroath pulled one back five minutes later when Colin Hamilton tapped in from six yards out before substitute Alan Cook set up a tense finale when his strike made it 4-3 in the 82nd minute.
