Brechin City 1 : 1 Dunfermline - Hedgemen hold Pars

Dunfermline remained second in League One after earning a point in a 1-1 draw away to Brechin City.
Robert Thomson came closest to opening the scoring after 23 minutes, when his header from the middle of the box cannoned off a post.
Thomson continued to be the Pars biggest threat, beating the offside trap four minutes later and rounding the goalkeeper, but the striker took the ball too wide, allowing Gerard McLauchlan to get back and clear the ball off the line.
It was Thomson who opened the scoring for the visitors - latching onto a through ball by Callum Morris to fire first time past Graeme Smith from the edge of the Brechin box after 39 minutes.
Brechin leveled with 14 minutes remaining through Andrew Jackson. The striker took advantage of a goalmouth scramble that followed a Robert Barr corner to poke the ball home and earn the Hedgemen a point.
