Airdrie United vs Stranraer preview - Diamonds aim to seal Gallacher loan

Airdrie hope to conclude a loan deal to bring goalkeeper Scott Gallacher to the club from Rangers prior to their clash at home to Stranraer.
Striker John Boyle remains out with a knee injury and Martin Hardie's ankle problem also rules him out, with young defender Chris O'Neil facing a fitness test.
Manager Jimmy Boyle said: "It has been a while since we played each other but I know a good bit about Stranraer.
"Any team that defeats Ross County demands respect and this will be a tough game. We are creating chances and if we can take them then we will get the win that will kickstart our season."
Stranraer boast a fully-fit squad to face the Diamonds and boss Stephen Aitken hopes his players can start to get the points they deserve.
Aitken said: "We have received a lot of plaudits for how we are going about things, however the reality is that we are bottom with one point.
"We have deserved more but we don't have any more so it is time to start putting some points on the board.
"Airdrie will probably feel the same about their two-point tally however I believe that if we play like we have been playing then we will start gaining wins and climbing the table."
