Falkirk 1 : 2 Hamilton FC - Accies win again

Posted Sunday, September 01, 2013 by PA

Hamilton came from behind against Falkirk to maintain their 100 per cent record in a 2-1 victory at The Falkirk Stadium.

Jay Fulton opened the scoring for Falkirk after 49 minutes with a long range right-footed free kick that dived into the bottom right corner.

Fulton came close to doubling Falkirk's lead after 65 minutes, after Rory Loy's shot was blocked by Michael Devlin, Fulton pouncing on the loose ball but his shot was smothered away by Kevin Cuthbert.

Hamilton snatched an equaliser after 71 minutes, when Mickael Antoine-Curier slotted home from the middle of the penalty area.

The Accies then took the lead three minutes later, when Alister Crawford smashed a thunderous drive past Michael McGovern from 25 yards.

Falkirk pushed hard for an equaliser late on but were never really able to test Cuthbert in the Hamilton goal.
