Dundee will look to make it two home wins out of two in the Championship by seeing off visitors Livingston, but they must do so without Iain Davidson who has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

Knee injuries keep Nicky Riley and Stephen O'Donnell out, but Kevin McBride is available as the suspension for his midweek sending-off against Forfar will be served in next season's Scottish League Cup.

Assistant manager Ray Farningham said: "We worked hard to get the home win over Alloa in the league and the two cup wins over Forfar. The players deserve credit for that.

"We will need to work hard again to beat Livingston."

The Lions head to Dundee boosted by a 2-0 win over Airdrie in the Scottish League Cup in midweek, although they continue to be injury hit with five players ruled out.

Marc McNulty (hamstring), Mark Burchill (calf), Burton O'Brien (toe), Stefan Scougall (hamstring) and Jack Beaumont (ankle) all remain absent.

However, Keaghan Jacobs is in line for a recall after playing his first 45 minutes in six months in a bounce game on Wednesday.

Manager Ritchie Burke said: "It was nice to get through against Airdrie as we are so short of bodies. We were workmanlike as opposed to dynamic and we will need to have a similar approach against Dundee."
