Livingston vs Falkirk preview - Problems mount for Livingston

Nail Hastings has added to Livingston manager Richie Burke's problems ahead of the visit of Falkirk.

Defender Hastings will be suspended on Saturday, sitting out the game along with the injured Mark Burchill (calf), Stefan Scougall (hamstring), Burton O'Brien (toe), Kyle Wilkie (knee) and Jack Beaumont (ankle).

Mike Mumpaya could return and Andrew Barrowman could feature after discussions over a move to West Lothian restarted.

Burke said: "We have had a tough start to the season through injuries but we just have to get on with things. The young side that played last weekend against Queen of the South did really well and a 3-3 draw was unfair.

"Hopefully they can play well again and get the result they deserve."

Falkirk defender Jonny Flynn will again miss out with an ankle problem while Connor McGrandles and Luke Leahy both face fitness tests after Tuesday night's extra-time win over Ayr in the Ramsdens Cup.

"We are going to Livingston boosted by a good win over Morton last Saturday and getting through to the quarter-final stage of the Ramsdens Cup," said Falkirk boss Gary Holt.

"We are looking to instil a winning mentality at the club and the more wins we get the stronger that mentality will be. Livingston will be out to ensure that we do not add another success so this will be a test for our young squad."
