Wayne Rooney produced one of the biggest stories of the first weekend in the Premier League when he refused to celebrate with his colleagues the goals his Manchester United side scored against Swansea on Saturday. His behaviour appeared to be a further clear indication that the forward is not happy at the club now managed by David Moyes.

And Chelsea knows it. According to ESPN, Roman Abramovich has raised his offer for the player to €47 million after United has previously rejected two offers of €25 million and €30 million.
