Guaita willing to fight for Valencia place

Valencia goalkeeper Vicente Guaita insists he is not thinking of leaving the La Liga outfit despite having to play second fiddle to Diego Alves.
Guaita, who came through the youth ranks at Mestalla, made his debut for the club back in the 2008/09 season and enjoyed plenty of first-team action in the next two campaigns.
However, he was limited to just 14 league appearances last term as Alves establised himself as Los Che's first-choice custodian, although he did manage another 11 games in cup and continental competition.
Nonetheless, the 26-year-old insists he is not looking to leave Valencia and is relishing the chance to fight for the number one spot.
"I'm a Valencia player," he told Marca. "I have two years left on my contract and I hope to stay for many more.
"If I'm not in the starting line-up, I will continue to fight just as I have always done."
Despite his reserve status with Los Che, Guaita is regarded by some as one of Spain's best goalkeeping prospects and, at 26, could still have a bright future ahead.
