Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has revealed he will soon make an announcement over his plans for the future.

De Rossi promises to clarify Roma future

The 30-year-old, who has spent his entire career thus far with the Serie A side, has long been linked with a move to one of Europe's biggest clubs, and Barclays Premier League giants Manchester City are reportedly very keen on signing him in the current transfer window.

However, De Rossi, who is currently on international duty with Italy, has yet to give a clear indication on his plans but claims he will do so very soon.

"Right now, I will have two more days with the Azzurri," he said.

"But then, I will speak on the topic once and for all. People can accuse me of anything they want, but not that I have not been clear."

The combative midfielder was also asked about the future of club colleague Pablo Osvaldo but refused to reveal too much on reported interest that the striker could be on his way to Inter Milan.

"I do not know what he wants to do," De Rossi added. "I've seen clear movement on his part and the club's.

"If he left, we would lose a great player, as well as a friend. But I don't want to speak about my own future so I don't want to speak about others' either.

"I'm a friend of Daniel's [Osvaldo] and so I'm happy when he's happy. If he stays at Roma, I'll be happy for him; if he goes elsewhere, I'll be the same."

De Rossi, who made his international debut in 2004, has gone on to win 90 caps for Italy and was part of the side that won the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
