Bale wants to join Man Utd

Despite manager André Villas-Boas' constant assurances that the Welsh player will not be leaving Spurs this summer, there's no end to the rumours concerning Bale's future. According to the Daily Star, the striker is interested in playing for the Red Devils.
Now it seems Manchester United is hell-bent on signing the attacking midfielder. The Daily Star claims that David Moyes' team has offered £60 million for Bale, and according to its website the best placed suitor is United.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy doesn't want to lose his star player and hopes to bolster his current contract considerably. In spite of the rumours, Levy firmly denies he has received an offer for Bale.
It seems that Real Madrid has a serious rival to contend with in its efforts to capture last year's Premier League Player of the Year.
