Napoli admits chase for Higuaín

The Napoli President continues to use social networks as the place to reveal major news about his club. Not for the first time Aurelio De Laurentiis started a small chat on Twitter with his followers that led to him revealing that the club is negotiating with 'Pipita' Higuaín.

In response to a question from a fan about whether Napoli was trying to sign the Argentine forward and the Brazilian Leandro Damiao, the reply from De Laurentiis on both accounts was: "That is correct ".

After previously frustrated enquiries from Juventus and Arsenal, Napoli is now the favourite to close one of the transfer sagas of the summer and confirm the signing of Higuaín from Real Madrid.
